Students who are analytical, enjoy customer service and like to work with their hands will do well in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician program. Students will learn to install, maintain, and repair heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems from residential to large size systems. Students who graduate will have a state electrical trainee license with 1,127 hours of field training credit, OSHA 30, and Universal refrigerant certifications and employment ready national certification for all types of heating air conditioning and refrigeration systems. According to the Bureau for Labor Statistics, the median income in 2017 for HVAC/R installers was $47,080. The job outlook for our students is strong, with 100% placement rates last year.
