High-level graphic designers who can use computer skills to create imaginative designs are in high demand. Expertise in graphic design is important for entry into and advancement in publishing companies, in-house design departments, graphics, advertising, public relations, sales and other visual arts occupations.  Persons skilled in designing for the Web can expect to be in increasing demand and earn good salaries.
